World Cup Ball 2010 (jabulani)

Cape Town - Adidas has released the official ball named 'Jabulani' as the official football World Cup 2010. 'Jabulani' claimed to have a stable advantage in the air and easily controlled.

Just like the balls the previous World Cup, 'Jabulani' also has a distinctive color of the host country. Glimpse of the ball has only black and white colors of yellow, but if you see more detail there are colors that symbolize the eleven eleven eleven languages and communities in South Africa and describes a football team.

Salar de Uyuni

Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt lake in the world (10.582km2)

Salar de Uyuni is located in the Department of Potosi and Oruro, Bolivia southeast, near the top of the Andes, at an altitude of 3650 m.

Around 40,000 years ago, this lake is part of the Lake Michin, a large lake in prehistoric times. When dry, there are 2 remaining lakes, namely Lake Poopó and uru uru, and the 2nd largest salt desert, Salar de Coipasa and Salar de Uyuni.

Estimated, Salar de Uyuni contains 10 billion tons of salt, and less than about 25,000 tons of salt each year obtained. Every November, Salar de Uyuni into residential areas for the 3 species of flamingos in South America: flamingos chile, andes, and James. Salar de Uyuni is a popular tourist destination.

Virus, Glass, Sculpture

Artist Luke Jerram made a replica of some viruses and deadly bacteria of glass in Viral Sculpture exhibition held at The Smithfield Gallery, London from September 22 to October 3, 2009. He made this works with the help of experts virus and scientific photographer.
